Realme GT 2 Pro confirmed to come with 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor – Gadgets Now

Realme will unveil its Realme GT 2 series in China on January 4. The series may consist of Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro. Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed the camera feature of Realme GT 2 Pro.

An official poster shared by the company reveals that the Realme GT 2 Pro may come with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor at the back with OIS support. This will be paired with a 150-degree ultra-wide lens and a microscope camera.

Realme put a “2.0” after “microscope camera”, suggesting this could be a second-generation shooter. It is likely to be an upgraded version of the 3 MP f/3.0 camera that came with the Find X3 Pro which offers 60X magnification.

Realme GT 2 Pro expected specifications

Realme GT 2 Pro is rumoured to come with LPDDR5 RAM and may offer UFS 3.1 internal storage. It is expected to feature a 6.51-inch full HD+ AMOLED screen with high refresh rate. The display is rumoured to come with 20:9 aspect ratio and 404 pixel density.

The smartphone may come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 octa-core processor. On the camera front, the device is tipped to offer a 50MP primary camera on the back. The phone’s camera may offer optical image stabilisation (OIS). At the front, the device may come with 32MP selfie shooter.

The device is said to come with 125 watt fast charging technology and may come with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth version 5.2 for wireless connectivity.

Realme GT 2 Pro is said to be the company’s flagship phone. It is rumoured to come with a price tag starting at Rs 46,800.
