The company garnered a lot of limelight recently by launching an affordable smartwatch with Bluetooth calling functionality. Successor to the Realme Watch 2, the Realme Watch 3 offers a bigger display, better battery life, some additional features and not to forget Bluetooth calling support. The sub- 4k smartwatch promises to offer a smooth and efficient performance. We used the smartwatch for some time and here’s our complete review.
Realme Watch 3 is the prettiest affordable smartwatch of the company. The device comes with a square dial which is similar to many other wearables available in this price segment. The smartwatch weighs 50 grams with the strap and is also comfortable to wear. The smartwatch has borrowed its looks from its predecessor but it features a shiny finish on the sides which gives it a metal alloy look. The shiny sides also make it stand out amongst the other smartwatches offered by the company. The strap of the Realme Watch 3 is made of durable silicone material. The strap is 22mm thick and is also interchangeable. The strap is of good quality and is also skin-friendly. Realme Watch 3 houses a single function button placed on the right side. The button enables you to wake up the smartwatch, open the menu and also pause your workout. Below the button, you will notice a microphone and on the other side has the speaker grill. The rear of the smartwatch consists of heart rate and SpO2 sensors along with magnetic charging pins. The Realme Watch 3 comes with an IP68 rating which makes it water and dust-resistant. The smartwatch is compatible with Android and iOS operating systems and supports Bluetooth version 5.3.
Realme Watch 3 sports a 1.8-inch display with 240×286 pixel resolution. The curved touchscreen display on the smartwatch comes with 500 nits peak brightness and offers a 67.5% screen-to-body ratio. The screen is also protected with a coating of 2.5D scratch-resistant glass. The wearable offers a smooth touchscreen experience and good visibility under direct sunlight. You can also adjust the brightness levels by swiping left or by going to the Settings menu. Swiping the screen from the top will take you to the quick settings menu. Swiping to the right will give you access to your activity data and music controls. The bigger and brighter display on the Realme Watch 3 makes it look better than the other affordable smartwatches available in the market.
